I had the chicken fried steak with fries and green beans. I wanted to take a bite of the green beans before the photo and forgot. The green beans were excellent. I will order a double portion next time. Fries were crispy outside and soft on inside. The CFS had a balanced breading to steak ratio. The seasoning on the breading will speak sweet words to your palette! The breading stayed crisp until the last bite. If I would change anything, I would add a little more flavor to the gravy. The Unsweet tea was NOT CLOUDY, which speaks highly about the quality. The service was perfect. I could not have asked for a better server. All in all, I would recommend and definitely return.

I went for lunch. Got the Chicken Fried Steak with fries and corn. The Steak was hands down in the running for the most excellent Steak I have ever had. Breading was good gravy was awesome. Fries were crispy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. Corn was a little sweet which I like. Sweet tea was great, tasted awesome. Very friendly service. I will go back. In my opinion the best chicken fried steak in this area. Job well done. Give the cooks a raise. Thanks for the awesome food and service.

Outstanding small town cafe. I had the Sunday lunch special, ham turkey and fixings. A great deal. Very friendly and attentive staff. Exactly the kind of place to stop for a great home cooking style lunch.
